Klay Thompson Reacts to His Latest Nickname Following Game 6 Clinching Win

Klay Thompson has so many nicknames that it at this point it’s hard to keep them all straight. Everyone wants to be the next to coin Klay with a new nickname.

Following the Splash Brother’s huge 32-point performance in the Warriors’ 120-110 victory to close out the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday, including eight 3-pointers that put him in a club that doesn’t even include Steph Curry, Thompson was asked if this warrants a new nickname.

Returning to the NBA Finals is a big moment for Klay Thompson, given what it took for him to return from two serious injuries. He’s still only about 18 months removed from his Achilles surgery.

Even if the Warriors aren’t crowned NBA champions this season, Klay is already a Champion.

The guy loves to hoop. Ben Simmons can use some of whatever Klay has.
