Following Legendary Beast Quake Run, Marshawn Lynch Allegedly Dropped a Giant Wad of Cash to His O-Lineman

The legend that is Beast Mode continues to grow.

The NFL has had plenty of characters throughout the years, but none have had the combination of sheer strength and talent like Marshawn Lynch. Lynch’s exploits on and off the field are totally legendary, from buying Fireball shots for an entire bar to his part in the most famous play in team history. That play now has an added note to it. Following his 67-yard Beast Quake run against the New Orleans Saints in the playoffs, Lynch went out of his way to thank his offensive linemen. According to former Seattle guard Tyler Polumbus, Lynch walked into their meeting room and dropped a giant wad of cash on the table and then walked out.

As for what they did with the money, Polumbus says they went to Vegas.

Makes sense.

Out of all the runs in the NFL, that was by far the angriest. The Seattle Seahawks entered the 2010 NFL Playoffs with the odds against them, they were a sub-.500 team and were matched up in the first round again the reigning Super Bowl Champion Saints. Yet, the Seahawks prevailed behind one of the most memorable runs in NFL history, the “Beast Quake”.
