Jameis Winston Explains Why He Refuses To Cut His Hair

Long hair don’t care.

New Orleans Saints quarterback Jameis Winston is currently battling back from ACL and MCL injuries but expected to be ready to start the season. Jameis has been growing his hair out long recently and explained that he’s waiting to cut it until he achieves a massive goal and because the long hair currently wields biblical power.

In the video where Jameis explains why he’s not cutting his hair, we see a relaxed Jameis Winston listening to Marvin Gaye’s ‘Got To Give It Up’ while talking about his long hair.

Watch below:

Jameis Winston: “When I got hurt I was like ‘man, I’m not going to cut my hair until I get back on the field.’ So it was just something that I decided.

I was like, it’s going to be a reset for my body, for everything, but I’m going to keep something. I’m gonna keep my hair. I’m gonna cut off all my facial hair but I’m going to keep my hair because it’s about the power in Samson’s hair. So I still got my power in my hair and I’m going to grow it out.

Then I just liked this look. Especially with the mustache. But when I pick it out, when I have the ‘fro. Oh my god, I feel like Earth, Wind, and Fire. Like I could be a singer or something.”

Jameis recently graduated from Florida State eight years after he left for the NFL. He appears to be in good place after some pretty devastating injuries. I for one would love to see Jameis explode this coming season. The NFL is far more entertaining when Jameis is eating W’s.
