Carolina Panthers Quarterback Wishlist Has Been Revealed

The Carolina Panthers are looking for a star QB to replace Sam Darnold.

And now that the QB market is starting to take shape,  they have their eyes set on Deshaun Watson. According to reporter Jordan Schultz, Watson is  their top choice at quarterback for the Panthers, this is due to the coaching staff feeling like they need to win now in order to secure their jobs.

Watson meanwhile still has a lot of issue he needs to resolve before he gets back on the field.

Acquiring superstar Deshaun Watson is No. 1 on the #Panthers’ wishlist, per a source. As we know, Deshaun has a no-trade clause — but the staff is under immense pressure from owner David Tepper after consecutive five-win seasons. Watson would represent immediate improvement.

The Panthers also may bring back Cam Newton into the mix, but clearly he’s not their long term solution.

Watson is a huge upgrade from Darnold, but what comes with Watson is a ton of baggage.
