#Federer about #Wimbledon Centre Court and Serena #Williams retire: "The grass is more slippery now, usually then it gets harder and easier to move on. This is obviously terrible that it's back-to-back matches and it hits Serena as well. Oh, my God, I can't believe it" pic.twitter.com/F3t4HaSFdj

During the broadcast, announcers immediately pointed to a spot on Centre Court of Wimbledon that was more slippery than usual.
Hopefully the Wimbledon crew figures out a way to make Centre Court a little more playable for the rest of the tournament, and we don’t see any similar injuries going forward.
As for Serena Williams, this is truly heartbreaking. Who knows how many chances she’ll have to win a major tournament? We’ll wish for a speedy recovery, and hope to see her back on the court soon.
