“The Borat video is a complete fabrication. I was tucking in my shirt after taking off the recording equipment,” Giuliani said in a statement. “At no time before, during, or after the interview was I ever inappropriate. If Sacha Baron Cohen implies otherwise he is a stone-cold liar.”

He posted a twitter thread to try to clear his name from the incident.

I don’t really see what Joe Biden and his family have to do with this, but I digress. Sacha Baron Cohen even came out in defense of Giuliani (as Borat).

Baron Cohen responded for real on Good Morning America.

“If the president’s lawyer found what he did there appropriate behavior, then heaven knows what he’s done with other female journalists in hotel rooms,” Baron Cohen said Friday on “Good Morning America.”

He added that he was legitametely concerned for the female actress during the taping of the scene.
