Los Angeles Sparks star Zahui B. shared her recent exchanges with Brittney Griner.
“She jokes in her letters. I don’t know how she does it with what she’s going through. She’s an amazing soul,” Zahui B. said. “She brings light in a situation like this. I don’t think a lot of people could manage to do that.”
Brittney Grinerâs wife, Cherelle, recently called upon president Joe Biden to get the star back home.
âThere is one person that can go get her, and thatâs our president,â Griner told ESPNâs Angela Rye in an interview that aired Wednesday on ABCâs âGood Morning America.â âHe has that power. You know, Iâm just like, âWhy are we not using it? Like, urgently, use it.â Weâre expecting him to use his power to get it done.â
