Yadier Molina wants answers after he wasn’t named a finalist for this year’s Gold Glove award. He took to Instagram to voice his displeasure.

“At 38 years I’m still the best…ask every catcher in the MLB,” Molina proclaims on his post. The finalists were Jacob Stallings, Willson Contreras and Tucker Barnhart. Something tells me those guys would probably tell you that they think they’re better than the veteran Molina. If you aren’t trying to be the best, why play professional sports?
Anyways, Twitter had quite the reaction to Yadi’s outburst.
37-year-old Andrew Knizner: “is it my time to start yet?”
50-year-old Yadier Molina: “No, I still got some in the tank”

Yadier Molina is so petty and I absolutely love it. He’s got a little bit of MJ in him.

Obviously, Cubs fans had to get their digs in.

Nevertheless, Yadi Molina is going to keep being Yadi, and that’s part of what makes him great. He does not see himself slowing down anytime soon, even if everyone else does.
Molina will most likely be one of those guys who plays until his knees give out or he literally can’t play anymore. That’s just how he’s wired. He even came out and said that he’s hoping for another two year extension from the Cardinals.
38-year-old catcher Yadier Molina is reportedly hoping to secure a multi-year contract this winter and "play it out until he's 40" @KMOXSportshttps://t.co/5EI6jEzhUo

The Cardinals will probably give it to him, too. They fucking love this guy in St. Louis. In their defense, he has been the heart and soul of the organization for the past 15 years. We can argue about it all day, but Yadier Molina will probably have a plaque in Cooperstown when it’s all said and done. I wouldn’t be surprised if he calls out all of his haters during his acceptance speech as well.
