The team formerly known as the Washington Redskins is still without a nickname. They played an entire season known as the Washington Football Team, or as some are referring to it, WFT. Washington Football Team President Jason Wright discusses the decision to change the team’s name from “The Washington Redskins” and also touches on systemic racism in the NFL.
