UFC’s Michael Chiesa Calls Out MAGA Guy Colby Covington For Next Fight ‘Your Shtick Is Done’

Michael Chiesa took care of business today at fight island in Abu Dhabi.

Chiesa was the slight underdog against Neil Magny in the main event, and absolutely dominated him, winning by unanimous decision. After the fight, Chiesa was asked who he wants next. He called out known Trumper Colby Covington, and even threw a dig at the former president.

“The election is over. Colby Covington, your schtick is done. I want you next, boy,” Chiesa said in his post-fight presser.

I’m not sure Michael Chiesa will get his wish just yet. Covington is rumored to be fighting Jorge Masvidal next. Those two have had a rivalry brewing for a long time, and Dana White knows there would be a lot more intrigue with that fight than a Chiesa-Covington card.

Some more realistic options for Chiesa could include Tyron Woodley, or the loser of the Leon Edwards Vs. Khamzat Chimaev fight. Michael Chiesa will likely have to wait in line for Covington, but it looks like he has found a home in the Welterweight division
