Twitter Tears Into Chelsea Star Timo Werner After Champions League Stinker

However, it was particularly his fifth-minute sitter that would leave you red-faced, that’s if you’re a Chelsea fan.

Callum Hudson-Odoi had picked out the man from the right-hand touchline with a neat, precise cross and with only goalie Gomis at his mercy in the six-yard area, Werner somehow managed to sky his shot well over the bar. He didn’t get a better chance than that all night.
