Judge Rules Against Trevor Bauer’s Accuser In Restraining Order Case

Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer appeared in court this week to fight a restraining order plea from the California woman who accused him of sexual abuse.

On Thursday, a judge ruled that the temporary restraining order against the pitcher would be lifted.

The court denies the request for a long-term restraining order. . Judge: "If she set limits and he exceeded them, this case would be clear. But he did not exceed limits she set." . . . Bauer won the hearing. Totally unclear what it means to MLB or to potential criminal charges

Judge determined that the injuries the woman had as a result of her sex with Trevor Bauer were not the result of anything she told him she objected to. Also, she determined he doesn't pose a threat to her.

During her testimony, the unidentified woman admitted to having relations with multiple different players on the San Diego Padres (including Fernando Tatis JR), but had a ‘brutal’ fear of Trevor Bauer.

She would go on to detail the beating she took at the hands of Bauer during consensual sex. According to the original suit, Bauer punched the woman, and choked her unconscious at one point during the interaction

Trevor Bauer opted against taking the stand in the restraining order case, citing his 5th amendment rights.

The only three words the Dodgers pitcher said all week was “yes, your honor”.

There’s no telling what this decision will mean, if anything, for Trevor Bauer’s MLB career.
