Trae Young Reacts To Playing In The Wild Madison Square Garden For The First Two Playoff Games

Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young got the brunt of the hate from New York Knicks fans during the first two games of their playoff series.

Young was constantly serenaded with chants and taunts, and one fan even got banned for life after spitting on him while he was throwing an inbound pass.

Even after everything, Young called it the ‘experience of a lifetime’ getting to play a playoff series in Madison Square Garden with fans present.

“It was the experience of a lifetime,” Young said on Thursday, via NBA TV. “For me, my first playoff experience, being in the Garden, against the fans there. It was the experience of a lifetime.”

Trae Young had his fun with the wild Knicks fans, too. After shushing the Knicks faithful following the Hawks’ Game 1 victory, Young had another message for the people at MSG after the Knicks win in Game 2.

Trae Young legitimately looks like he’s having a great time being the villain in New York City. We’ll wait and see how the series is looking when they return to Madison Square Garden. But one thing is for sure…Trae Young is not intimidated in the slightest.

Gotta love it.
