TJ Watt’s Fiancee Dani Rhodes Reacts To His Monster Extension

With TJ Watt’s contract dispute dominating news for the Pittsburgh Steelers, the team was finally able to lock in a deal with their star pass-rusher just days before the season opener.

Watt will now be the highest paid defensive player in the NFL.

Shortly after the news was announced, TJ Watt’s fiancee, Dani Rhodes, took to Instagram to react.

“Hardest working person I know. There is no one more deserving. Congratulations babe. I’m so beyond proud of you. I love you and can’t wait to celebrate soon!” she wrote.

According to ESPN insider Adam Schefter, TJ Watt went against his agents by accepted the deal on the table from the Steelers.

“Steelers’ OLB T.J. Watt overruled his agents who believed they could get more money today, marched into the office of Steelers president Art Rooney and told him they had a deal. Then the NFL’s new highest-paid defensive player excused himself and announced he had to go work out,” Schefter wrote on Twitter.

It was clear that TJ Watt wants to spend his future with the Pittsburgh Steelers. And that’s where him and Dani Rhodes will begin the next chapter of their lives.
