Titans Carelessly Broke COVID Protocol Last Week, Putting Entire NFL Season In Jeopardy

According to a report by PaulKuharsky.com, the Titans went against an NFL directive not host team workout after their initial positive COVID-19 tests. The report says that several of the Titans players held a secret workout at Montgomery Bell Academy on Sep. 30.

It is not clear who attended this workout, but if this is true, the negligence by these players would be baffling. Here are some pictures of what Paul Kuharsky says was the Titans workout.

Obviously, you can’t tell much from these pictures. However, this report claims to have sources who have confirmed this workout. The report also claims that students at Montgomery Bell Academy said they saw adult male football players on their field.

Kuharsky wasn’t the only member of the media to get this scoop.

This will likely lead to an NFL investigation, and penalties would be warranted if the Titans were working out. Titans coach Mike Vrabel went on a Zoom call the next day to talk about his team’s outbreak, and how they were handling it.

“Reminded them to not gather with each other, players and staff, until we can find a safe way to enter in back to our building,” Vrabel said.

So, if there was a workout, the players are either going against their coach or Vrabel is lying. Either way this would be a bad look for the Titans organization. It goes without saying that this NFL season was going to be different, and large compromises were going to have to be made. If players can’t handle staying within the guidelines, then they should have opted out of the season altogether.
