Spectator Who Caused Major Crash at Tour de France Reportedly Fled the Country

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, chances are you saw what took place at the Tour de France this past weekend. In case you missed it, a fan holding a sign hit a cyclist, which caused an enormous pile up. Dozens of bikers got caught in the pile up, and the person who held the sign couldn’t be found following the crash.

Following the major spectator-caused crash that unfolded Saturday, the spectator involved in the crash has since gone missing and as of Monday, is reported to have even fled the country.

Authorities intend to sue the woman involved, though the woman who is presumed to be German, hopped onto a flight and has since been untraceable.

They have to turn this into a movie.
