Skip Bayless Slammed Over His Take On Sean McVay Following Super Bowl Win

Skip Bayless is at it again.

After winning his first Super Bowl, pretty much every member of the media has given credit to Rams head coach Sean McVay — who has quickly ascended into one of the very best coaches in the league since taking over in 2017. But Bayless wasn’t in much of a congratulatory mood.

During the on-field celebration after the Super Bowl win, Skip Bayless slammed Sean McVay for being an “egomaniac” and taking the moment away from his players.

At just 36 years old, Sean McVay has already asserted himself as one of the very best coaches in the NFL. But he hinted last week that he might consider retiring early to start a family.

“I know I love football and I’m so invested in this thing,” Sean McVay said via CBS Sports “and I’m in the moment right now. But at some point, too, if you said, ‘What do you want to be able to do?’ I want to be able to have a family, and I want to be able to spend time with them.”

I don’t think it would fit Skip Bayless’s narrative too well if Sean McVay decided to walk away to become a family man.
