Skip Bayless Absurdly Thinks Manny Pacquiao Beat Yordenis Ugas

Skip Bayless has another head-scratching take, this time about boxing legend Manny Pacquiao.

On Saturday, the 42-year-old Pacquiao lost what could have been his last fight in a boxing ring via a unanimous decision against Yordenis Ugas.

Anyone watching the fight saw an exciting bout, with Manny Pacquiao obviously took the worst of the shots, and fizzled late to the much-younger Yordenis Ugas.

But somehow, Skip Bayless saw it differently.

During his show today, Bayless talked about how he still wants to see Pacquiao continue his career. And if he were scoring, he would have scored the bout 115-113 in Manny’s favor.

Fans were quick to point out that Skip Bayless clearly has no idea what he’s talking about when it comes to the Manny Pacquiao fight or boxing as a whole.

Even if Skip Bayless has no business speaking on boxing (or much of anything), he’ll be happy to know that Manny Pacquiao hasn’t completely closed the door on his boxing career.

“This sport is my passion,” Pacquiao said. “That’s why I’m still here fighting at the age of 42. I’m enjoying it, but sometimes you have to think about the response of your body. … My mind, my heart, it’s 100%. But my legs were cramping.”

Even Manny Pacquiao sounds like a guy who’s admitting that he did not win that fight. Time for Skip Bayless to give it up.
