Sister Jean Would Like To Be Present For The NCAA Tournament

After Loyola-Chicago won the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament, many wondered whether we’d be seeing Sister Jean for March Madness, once again.

The 101-year-old Sister Jean is the chaplain for the Ramblers, and she stole the hearts of many sports fans across the country during the team’s unexpected run to the Final Four in 2018.

While there has been no official word yet on whether Sister Jean will be with team for the tournament this year, it’s looking pretty likely. At least she would like to be there. She even pledged to follow all the protocols put in place by the NCAA.

“They said there’s restrictions,” Sister Jean said via Chicago Tribune. “You can’t run down on the court. You can’t talk to the young men. I said, ‘I’m not going to run down on the court, and I’m not going to cause any disturbance.’ I said, ‘I won’t do things I’m not supposed to.’”

We’ll have to wait and see if the NCAA will make an exception to allow the elderly chaplain in Indianapolis for the Ramblers’ games.

I think I speak for most people when I say we’d all like to see Sister Jean back in full force during the tournament.
