Sister Jean stole the hearts of fans everywhere during Loyola’s miracle run to the Final Four in 2018, when she was 98-years-old.
This will mark the first time since that run that Loyola-Chicago will be back in the NCAA Tournament, and thank god they’ll have their unofficial mascot in Sister Jean.
Loyola drew the eight-seed in the Midwest, and will face Georgia Tech in the first round on Friday. Who knows? Maybe Sister Jean can prove to be the good luck charm, once again, for another unexpected run by Loyola-Chicago.
