Sexual Assault Charges Filed Against Former NFL Player

Another former NFL player in hot water, what else is new? A former NFL player is being accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting a young girl. Former NFL player Thomas Allen Burke is being charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct in Minnesota.

According to a criminal complaint, the child told her mother back in February that the former NFL player had assaulted her on several occasions.

Burke waived extradition to Minnesota following his arrest Friday. He was held in County Jail on $100,000 bail. He posted bail and was released Monday, according to reports.

According to a criminal complaint, Burke denied the accusation.

Burke was a defensive end for the Arizona Cardinals from 1999 to 2002. Never would have guessed this guy played in the NFL.
