Sean McVay Still Won’t Commit To Coaching Another Season

Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay is on top of the sports world right now.

He has been considered one of the top minds in the NFL since taking over LA in 2017. And the 36 year old added his first Super Bowl Championship this past weekend.

However, Sean McVay has been drooping subtle hints throughout the week that he might consider retiring to start a family with his supermodel fiancee, Veronika Khomyn.

When speaking to reporters this week, Sean McVay continued to provide little insight on whether or not he’d actually walk away from the NFL.

“We’ll see,” said McVay.

He added that he still wants time to enjoy the moment before addressing what the future holds.

“I’m just enjoying this moment right now,” McVay told Hernandez, adding that a Super Bowl title would definitely make it easier to walk away when the time is right, via NFL.com. “I’m really happy to be a part of this. Happy for that.”

Sean McVay became the youngest NFL head coach to win a Super Bowl on Sunday. And it would appear that LA is going to be in contention for the next few seasons. But after reaching the mountaintop, perhaps McVay feels like he has nothing left to prove.

Either that, or he’s just trying to keep his chips close to his chest — in hopes that he’ll be receiving a massive contract extension later in the offseason.

My take: the Rams will so whatever it takes to ensure that Sean McVay will be on the sidelines when the season begins next year.
