Scotty Miller Reportedly Dropped Chris Godwin’s Phone In The Water During The Parade

The Super Bowl LV parade has been a different one, but it doesn’t look like it has stopped the players from having a good time. I mean. a boat parade doesn’t sound all that bad if you ask me. However, boating doesn’t come without its risks. Wide receiver Scotty Miller reportedly dropped fellow wide receiver Chris Godwin‘s phone into the water this afternoon.

Per @Sara_Walsh, who is covering the #Bucs boat parade for us, Scotty Miller dropped Chris Godwin’s phone in the water. Welp. At least Miller caught the one that mattered.

“Welp. At least Miller caught the one that mattered.” If that doesn’t sum up the unfortunate accident between Miller and Godwin I don’t know what does.

As for Godwin, his phone is probably the least of his worries at this point. It’s unclear exactly how Miller dropped Godwin’s phone in the water, but that was how things eventually unfolded. Godwin is one of the key free agents the Buccaneers are hoping to lock up with a long-term deal. But the receiver might be out of the team’s price range depending on who else gives him offers. However, it’s pretty hard to not want to go back to the team that just won you a Super Bowl.

Who knows how Scotty Miller and Chris Godwin will settle the score over the dropped phone. They will figure that out between the two of them. In the meantime, they will settle for celebrating a Super Bowl Championship with their teammates.
