Ravens Star Earl Thomas Announces Altercation With Wife

Ravens star safety Earl Thomas III is getting ahead of the game by announcing an altercation with his wife on Instagram before it appears on TMZ Thursday morning.

I guess I’ll be on TMZ in the morning somehow they got a police report with details … Obviously this is not how I wanted my birthday breakfast to start out or my birthday but it is what it is ..

In a rare feat, an athlete/celebrity is actually reporting their own news ahead of TMZ. I believe that’s a first. In the video a concerned Thomas says that, “these things just happen” and “asks for prayers.” He doesn’t point to any specifics. We will have to wait and see what TMZ reports before speculating on the situation. Adding insult to injury, it is Thomas’ 31st birthday.

Thomas signed a four-year, $55 million contract with the Ravens in March of 2019. He had a successful first season with the Ravens as he earned Pro Bowl honors.
