Niner Faithful Celebrates Non-Existent Kittle Extension And George Wasn’t Having It

Early Wednesday afternoon the 49ers loyal fan base took to Twitter to celebrate a contract extension for arguably the most beloved piece of the San Francisco offensive unit, tight end George Kittle.

However, the rumored contract to keep Kittle in the Bay Area was quickly refuted by the man himself, as he sent ripples across the very timelines on the social platform the rumor was introduced.

Despite the deal being shot down via social media front for the meantime, there’s little to draw conclusion that the dynamic talent will be going elsewhere after 2020. Kittle is set to make over $2 million in the final year of his current contract with the 49ers, but if the rumors transpire to be truth, Georgie Boy (or Man, rather) would be in for a monumental pay raise for pretty much the majority of his remaining career.

Evidently, a pay raise so remarkably monumental that Kittle would become the highest paid tight end in the game, thus far and currently. Kittle is set to make a base salary of 2.33M with a prorated bonus of $74,574.
