Michael Thomas Reportedly Facing Multiple Surgeries

New Orleans Saints star receiver Michael Thomas had a very off year.  He was injured throughout the season, and when he did in fact suit up, he was less than his usual self. He finished the regular season with 40 catches for 438 yards and zero touchdowns in seven games. The previous year he set the NFL reception record with 149 catches.

Now it appears he’s heading into the offseason set for multiple surgeries.

See below:

Thomas has had one of the best starts to any career for a WR. His 510 career receptions are the most by a player in the first five seasons of his NFL career.

Thomas will most likely be without Brees if he stays on the Saints, so it should be interesting to see how effective he can be without one of the games best QB’s to ever do it.
