Matt Ryan’s Sister-In-Law Calls Out Falcons Following “Open Communication” Report

Are Matt Ryan’s days as the Falcons QB coming to an end?

Just last week, it was reported that the Falcons were entering the Deshaun Watson sweepstakes as a “sleeper team”, competing with the like of the Panthers and Saints.

After those reports went viral, it was said that the Falcons were keeping veteran quarterback, Matt Ryan, in the loop on their plans going forward.

As @mortreport reported, the Falcons informed QB Matt Ryan last weekend that they were pursuing Deshaun Watson. The lines of communication have been kept open between Ryan and the Falcons.

On Wednesday, Matt Ryan’s sister-in-law, Maggie Marshall Ryan, slid into the comments section to reveal that the report was wrong — and the Falcons were not keeping the QB in the loop.

Matt Ryan will be in his age-37 season next year. And although he still plays a serviceable QB position, it’s not crazy for Atlanta to start to think about their future at the position.

However, since Atlanta threw their hat in the mix as a potential trade partner, it appears as thought they’re still a long shot behind Carolina and New Orleans.

Regardless, it might be time for Matt Ryan to face the reality that he might have to finish his career elsewhere if he wants to continue for a while longer…
