Marcus Peters Denies Spitting At Jarvis Landry

A lot was made of Ravens cornerback Marcus Peters seemingly spitting at Jarvis Landry when he wasn’t looking.

Jarvis Landry came out against Peters, calling him a ‘coward’ for spitting at him when he had his back turned.

“He’s a coward,” Landry said Thursday. “I think he knew that maybe behind my back he’d do things like that, but to my face, he wouldn’t. Now I know. Everybody knows the type of player he is, the type of person he is.”

“Wait until I turn around and do something like that? It’s like, do it to my face,” Landry said. “Be a man about it if you’re going to do something like that.”

Earlier today, Marcus Peters Released at statement on the alleged spitting scandal.

“I didn’t spit at Jarvis. Where I come from, when you have an issue with someone, you deal with it face-to-face, man-to-man. Anyone who believes that I intentionally spit at him does not know me – plain ans simple,” Marcus Peters wrote.

I’ll let you guys be the judge, did Peters spit at Landry here?

Marcus Peters and the Ravens defeated the Browns 47-42 in what was the best game of the NFL season. Here’s hoping we’ll somehow see a rematch with these two teams in the playoffs.
