L.A. Went Insane After UCLA Punched Their Ticket To The Final Four

UCLA capped their improbable NCAA Tournament run by upsetting Michigan last night for a trip to the Final Four. The #11 seed Bruins were not considered much of a threat in the tournament, and had to play in a “First Four” game just to ensure a spot in the field of 64.

After UCLA’s thrilling win last night, the streets of L.A. were on fire, both literally and figuratively.

I’m sure this magical run by UCLA has even taken some students by surprise. Maybe all L.A. teams are just turning into champions now. First we had the Lakers and Dodgers win their respectively championships, and now UCLA is making their run at the damn thing.

Unfortunately for everyone in Westwood, I think the party ends here. The Bruins are set to face Gonzaga in the Final Four, who is simply a much better basketball team than they are. The Bruins opened as a 14-point underdog against the Zags.

If you think the party in L.A. was insane after they beat Michigan, you don’t want to know what would go down on campus if they somehow find a way to take down Gonzaga.
