Khabib Nurmagomedov Says He’s Willing To Fight Conor McGregor Again Under One Condition

Khabib Nurmagomedov stills despises Conor McGregor with a burning passion.

In his retirement, Khabib had worked as a trainer for a few different fighters, specifically Islam Makhachev. For now, Khabib is hoping to see Islam become the latest UFC fighter to take down McGregor in his decline.

Per TalkSport:

Makhachev was asked about McGregor during his post-fight press conference and said: “Honestly, I don’t remember when this guy beat someone. He have to come back, beat someone and let’s go, why not?

“I’m going to smash him, easy enough. Bobby Green is going to be harder for me more than him [McGregor].”

But if Conor McGregor were to somehow fight and beat Islam Makhachev, Khabib Nurmagomedov said he’d be willing to step back into the ring to shut McGregor up.

Despite his desire to rag on Conor McGregor some more, Khabib Nurmagomedov says he is happily retired at the moment.

“I am living the life of an ordinary person, not the one of a professional athlete,” Nurmagomedov said when speaking to UFC Russia. “I think living the life of an athlete is somewhat close to being held in a prison. Because everyday he has to do exactly the same thing — train, rest, then train again, then rest. It’s like living in the same mode, at the same pace, not slowing down.

“Once you slow down, you are no longer a champion. So I have just released myself from this prison in a way.”
