Jon Rahm Forced To Withdraw From Memorial Tournament After Crazy Event Caught On Camera

Just when you thought we had some sort of normalcy in the world, the PGA throws us a curve ball.

PGA tour pro and leader at the time, Jon Rahm, was forced to withdraw after the completion of the third round from the Memorial golf tournament this weekend after testing positive for COVID-19.

The whole event was captured on live TV, which was slightly disturbing.

Rahm had a six stroke lead heading in to the final round which was to start Sunday morning.

It was a wild turn of events that happened right in front of viewers’ eyes. Who knows who he has been in contact with this week. Rahm posted a message to social media today following the event.

At this point there were four other WDs from the tournament, but both his playing partners from Saturday, Patrick Cantlay and Scottie Scheffler, were allowed to continue in the tournament on Sunday.

With a victory, Rahm could have moved closer to recapturing No. 1 in the world, along with earning over $1.67 million.
