Jimmy Butler Going Viral After Hilarious Back-And-Forth With Reporter

Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler is getting his team ready for the playoff push as the NBA season winds down. Butler and the heat currently hold the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference, and will hope to avoid the play-in tournament for the postseason.

The main issue with that task is that the Heat will have a tough schedule coming up in the final two weeks of the season. Naturally, local Miami reporter Ira Winderman asked Jimmy Butler about the tough schedule.

“Are you aware of how tough the schedule is down the close with two against Boston, one against Philly, one against Milwaukee and one against Dallas… I mean, does it almost maybe feel pre-playoffs?” Winderman asked the Heat star during a post-game press conference.

Jimmy Butler quipped right back at the unsuspecting reporter.

“Maybe if you’re sorry a– was on our team it would be tough,” Butler responded with a smile. “I think we’ll be just fine.”

In all seriousness, it seems like Ira Winderman and Jimmy Butler have developed a good enough relationship where it’s not a big deal that Jimmy talks like this to him.

If Jimmy Butler can catch fire like he did last season, the league should be put on notice. During the NBA bubble playoffs last year, Butler and the Heat had a miracle run that saw them unexpectedly reach the NBA Finals.
