NBA Hall of Famer Isiah Thomas may not have been selected to be a member of the 1992 Dream Team, but he has been named the CEO of a U.S.-based CBD firm that grows marijuana and hemp in Colombia called One World Pharma. Thomas will be replacing Craig Ellins as CEO of the Las Vegas-based company

Thomas has some experience in the cannabis industry as a partner and owner of Vesl Oils which operates in CBD, medical marijuana, and THC byproducts.
Thomas played 13 seasons for the Detroit Pistons and led the “Bad Boy” Pistons teams to back-to-back NBA titles in 1989 and 1990. Widely considered one of the top 10 NBA point guards of all-time, Thomas was in the news recently after his alleged feud with Michael Jordan which potentially resulted in his exclusion from the 1992 Dream Team was highlighted on ESPN’s ‘Last Dance’ documentary..
Thomas was also previously the President of Basketball Operation for the New York Knicks from 2006-2008. There’s a good chance that this new role goes smoother.
