Former NBA Player Darius Morris Responded to Claims He Beat Up His Former Girlfriend

Former Los Angeles Lakers player Darius Morris is being sued by a woman in Manhattan for alleged assault and battery, according to new court papers. Kristen Summer filed the Manhattan Supreme Court summons against the 30-year-old ex-NBA player last week. The summons says Summer’s case “arises from assault and battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and gender motivated violence” involving Morris.

It was recently revealed Morris beat up his former girlfriend, who took to Instagram to expose her former boyfriend.

Following the video circulating the net, Morris took to IG to respond:

“I’m sorry for not treating her right, this my girl”

How Morris continues to get women to spend time with him is anyone’s guess.

That’s a pretty weak apology.

Hopefully the woman he abused gets her day in court.
