Fitzmagic Is Taking His Act To The Nation’s Capitol

Washington will be the new home for some Fitzmagic in 2021!

Veteran quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick has landed with the Washington Football Team on a one-year deal. Fitz will be in line to be the starting quarterback for Washington, being as Taylor Heinicke is the only other QB on the roster at this moment.

“Former Dolphins’ QB Ryan Fitzpatrick reached agreement with the Washington Football Team on a one-year deal worth $10 million that could grow to $12 million with incentives, per source. Fitzpatrick is expected to head to camp as the starter, with competition from Taylor Heinicke,” ESPN’s Adam Schefter tweeted out late Monday night.

After reportedly contemplating retirement, Fitzmagic has decided that he still might have some tricks up his sleeve (there’s also about $10 Million other reason why he’d stick around).

I think this is a great situation for Fitzpatrick, and he’ll finally have an opportunity to lead his own team without anybody else breathing down his neck.

Twitter has reacted to Fitzy’s deal with Washington.

Washington is just about the best possible destination for Ryan Fitzpatrick. They have a great defense, great head coach, and play makers on the offensive side of the ball. They also compete in the lowly NFC East.

The league needs to see Fitzmagic in the playoffs, and Washington just might be his best opportunity for him to make it back there. Let’s see what the fan-favorite has in store for the Washington Football Team next season.

If nothing else, it’ll be a whole lot of fun.
