Dwayne Haskins Apologizes To Team After Going To Strip Club Without Mask On

Washington Football Team quarterback Dwayne Haskins has spoken after being caught on video at a strip club without a mask on.

Haskins was fined $40,000 by the Football Team, and he’ll no longer be a captain of the team. Haskins accepted his punishment, and spoke about his mistake.

“I want to publicly apologize for my actions this past Sunday,” Haskins wrote on Twitter. “I spoke with Coach Rivera yesterday and took full accountability for putting the team at risk. It was irresponsible and immature of me and I accept responsibility for my action.”

Haskins added that this is his ‘last chance’ to prove himself.

To be honest, I’m not really sure if I’d accept Haskins’s apology if I were his teammates or coaching staff. The Washington Football team has turned some heads this year, and they have a legitimate shot to make the postseason. There is absolutely no excuse for Haskins to jeopardize all of that in such a negligent way.

Washington’s coach Ron Rivera also just beat cancer, and remains in the “at risk” category as it pertains to COVID-19.

If I’m Washington I would have sent Dwayne Haskins packing, he has done enough on and off the field to prove he is not your franchise quarterback.
