DUI Charges Against Melvin Gordon Have been Dismissed

Denver Broncos running back Melvin Gordon is going into this season with a little less to worry about.  Gordon was cited for a D.U.I. back in October of last year, and now it looks like the Denver Broncos running back will not be charged.

Gordon had his DUI charge dismissed on this week according to 9News.

Charges of DUI charges against Melvin Gordon have been DISMISSED. Plead guilty to reckless driving for excessive speeding. (8 points). But big win in this matter for Gordon. #9sports

Judge Olympia Fay pointed out Gordon was "habitual" speed offender, which is why he got 8-pt penalty. He was clocked going 71 in 35 on Oct. 13. But now that Gordon gets to keep his $7 million for 2021, guessing he didn't mind paying $429 fine and court costs. #9sports

Gordon was pulled over by the Denver Police Department for driving 39 mph over the speed limit.

He reportedly admitted to police that he did have a few drinks while having dinner at a friend’s house. Gordon needs to call a car service next time he decides to get behind the wheel after having a few.

Hopefully he learns something from this incident.
