Dr. Dre Reveals ‘Minor Changes’ to Halftime Show, Talks Eminem’s Kneeling Controversy

For the most part everyone seemed to really enjoy the Super Bowl halftime show.

Dr. Dre led the charge, and following the successful show, Dr. Dre was asked if the NFL made any changes to his Super Bowl Halftime Show. Dre admitted the NFL wanted “minor things” tweaked for the Halftime show.

Dre also responded to those rumors, and said there was no mention of the NFL asking Eminem not to kneel.

“There were a few things that we had to have changed, but they were really minor things. Em taking a knee, that was him doing that on his own, and there was no problem with that… All in all, we came in and everyone was professional. Everybody really felt the magnitude of what this thing was and what we were going to be able to accomplish.”

Listen to Dre explain below:

The show was great, and the fact people are still talking about it is a very good sign it was super successful.
