Degen Bet Of The Day: Russian SuperLiga Futsal Semifinals, #2 Gazprom-Yugra vs. #3 Sinara (August 21)

Another Friday around the corner, and another Degen Bet Of The Day to round out the work week! While cashing in on the Seniors Snooker underdog just a day ago (understandably, payouts were a tad delayed), we shift gears back to another familiar thread woven into our degenerate ilk by revisiting the Russian SuperLiga Futsal playoffs!

We’ve arrived to the fifth and final leg of this semifinal between the second-seeded Gazprom-Yugra and third-ranked Sinara, with each team having won and lost a game on their home field/court (whichever it looks more like to you). With added dramatics, Game 4 went to extra time with Gazprom-Yugra stealing an epic road victory.

Here’s a full replay (if you’re ever so inclined) of the nail-biter win for Gazprom-Yugra:

When looking at scoring differentials for the season, Gazprom-Yugra has a +48 (99-51 Balls), which showcases a notable edge over that of Sinara’s +22 (90-68 Balls). The home favorite has just the right amount of juice on the moneyline (-150) to signify the accumulative advantage one could argue of their season by comparison to underdog Sinara (+235 ML).

If Gazprom-Yugra can get their series-saving catalyst from Game 4 in attack Ivan Chishkala (27 M/22 D) on a rhythm offensively, the Sinara squad has shown to surrender scores under duress, despite a Kremlin-respectable season from lead attack Valery Demin (29 M/29 D).

The plus-money will always be a fancy of mine if it’s at all a realistic endeavor, which it is very much in play in this series-deciding match.

With every game of this series being a mere one-score differential, and neither team dropping back-to-back games, I’m going to roll with that trend in the underdog here, as I believe Sinara wants that Game 4 back while their two top attacks in Maxim Gerasimov and Valery Demin (scored all three of Sinara’s Game 4 balls) should prove to be the difference.

Pick:  Sinara +235 ML
