Did Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys Get Divorced on Social Media?

Is there trouble in paradise between Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys? In his contract year, Prescott suffered a season-ending ankle injury in the early going of 2020. With the team looking like a complete mess without Prescott under center, it has been widely expected that he’ll be the starting quarterback in Dallas next season one way or another. That may not be the case.

The Dallas Cowboys released a sneak peek to next season after Sunday night’s Super Bowl with the caption “season starts now”. The hype video had footage from a lot of Cowboys players…but there was no sign of Dak Prescott.

Could Prescott really be plotting his move to Washington? Possibly. Dak Prescott has been said to view his price tag the same way he did last offseason, before his injury. So far, the Cowboys have shown reluctance to give him “elite QB” money. If the Cowboys don’t want to pay Dak, someone else will.

Prescott has proven himself to be one of the most talented quarterbacks in the entire NFL. With many teams in need of a quarterback, there will likely be many GMs licking their chops if Dak hits the open market.

As a Chicago Bears fan, I’d kill to have Dak Prescott as my starting quarterback. I’m not sure Jerry Jones will let him slip out the door that easy, though.
