Dallas Cowboys Coach Carted Off at Practice This Week

The Cowboys have had some pretty bad news this week. Not only did they lose their star defensive player DeMarcus Lawrence, who is out 6-8 weeks, they also lost a coach. According to multiple reports, Cowboys assistant defensive line coach Leon Lett was carted off the field during the session. Lett suffered an apparent right leg injury and the severity of it is unknown at this point.

See the report below:

Twitter reacted to the news:

Leon Lett played 10 years for the Cowboys and his time on the field included three Super Bowl wins, but he’s probably best known for getting stripped by Bills wide receiver Don Beebe after slowing down while nearing the end zone on a fumble recovery in one of those Super Bowls.

Even coaching can be dangerous..

Wishing Lett a speedy recovery.
