Christian Eriksen Thanks Fans In First Public Comments Since Scary Injury

Denmark midfielder Christian Eriksen drew prayers all around the world after his scary collapse over the weekend during a game against Finland in the Euro 2020 tournament.

After being resuscitated on the field, it was revealed that Eriksen suffered cardiac arrest, and would be transported to the nearest hospital.

On Tuesday morning, Christian Eriksen gave his first public comments since the troubling situation.

“I still have to go through some examinations at the hospital, but I feel okay,” Eriksen added in his Instagram message, which was shared alongside a picture of him in a hospital bed. “Now, I will cheer on the boys on the Denmark team in the next matches. Play for all of Denmark.”

Given that it was reported that Christian Eriksen was momentarily without a pulse after suffering cardiac arrest, it is amazingly great news to see him up, and in good spirits.

Some fans were initially speculating that Eriksen’s collapse may have been tied in with COVID, or the vaccine, but doctors quickly put those rumors to rest.
