Cam Newton Gets Into It With A Youth Football Player After Getting Trolled For Being A Free Agent

NFL quarterback Cam Newton probably thought he was clear of being trolled while coaching youth football. He was wrong.

Newton was chirped by one of the players for being a free agent. Cam Newton chirped right back.

It was a valiant effort by the kid here, but I think Cam Newton got the better of this verbal exchange. Cam points out that he’s still “rich” before asking the kid where his daddy’s at.

The Cam Newton experience didn’t exactly go according to plan for the New England Patriots last season. The veteran quarterback struggled mightily on down field throws, and his team paid the price. The Patriots ended the season going 7-9, in third place in the AFC East.

Newton ended the season with just eight passing touchdowns to go along with 10 INTs. It’s a foregone conclusion that the Patriots will try to fill the void Tom Brady left with someone else under center next season. As for Cam Newton? he’s showed no interest in retirement, and some team will take a chance on the veteran quarterback.

Who knows, maybe Cam Newton can revitalize his career. It just won’t be with the New England Patriots.
