Byron Leftwich Responds To Jags Fans Calls for Him to Be Their Next Head Coach

Jags fans really want them some Bryon Leftwich.

Jaguars fans immediately started begging Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich to leave his perfect job and go fix their dumpster fire, as you can see Leftwich is the Jags nation’s #1 target.

It’s all rather easy and obvious. Fire Urban now. Hire Byron Leftwich. It would be such a massive win on every level. #Jaguars

During a Thursday press conference, Bucs Offensive Coordinator Byron Leftwich was asked about the Jaguars opening, laughing as the reporter said:

“Don’t wanna answer that one, right?” Leftwich responded with:

“I’m trying to win the division,” as he left, per ESPN’s Jenna Laine.

When asked about a HC opening in Jacksonville, Byron Leftwich walked off saying “I’m just trying to win a division.”

It would appear she either missed his answer or he was asked about it more than once:

All signs are pointing to Leftwich getting an offer for the job as soon as he’s allowed to.
