Bubba Wallace Has A New Fan For The Dixie Vodka 400 Race In Miami and It’s Not Who You’d Expect

Bubba Wallace debuted his Black Lives Matter-themed car in the last race at Martinsville and it caught the attention of Saints star running back Alvin Kamara.

Kamara was one of many professional athletes, including LeBron James, who showed support for Bubba’s car and for the movement. Kamara was so thrilled he inquired about the date and location for the next race. It didn’t take long for Wallace’s team, Richard Petty Motorsports, to respond.

Kamara will be at the race at Homestead and he’ll be swagged out for Richard Petty Motorsports in support of No. 43, Bubba Wallace.

NASCAR appears to have found its new biggest fan in Kamara. I have to say, as someone who has never watched a single NASCAR race, I’m intrigued as well. Much to the chagrin of former driver Ray Ciccarelli, banning the rebel flag seems to have had a very positive effect on the NASCAR organization. Many fans and people affiliated with NASCAR have shown their support for the league’s new fan, Kamara.

Kamara spends his offseason training in Miami, so the trek to Homestead-Miami Speedway will not be a very long one. If you weren’t in Wallace’s corner already, you better get there now because it’s getting bigger day by day. Wallace finished in 11th place last race at Martinsville and will be pushing for a top-10 finish in Miami, starting in the 17th position. If the NFL isn’t able to return to action in September (dear Lord, I hope that isn’t the case), Kamara just might have a new hobby.

Tune in for the Dixie Vodka 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway on FOX or MRN starting at 3:30 p.m. EST.
