Bruce Arians Responds to Reports of a Rift Between He and Tom Brady

Trouble in paradise (Tampa Bay) was brewing last week.

Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians is not a fan of reports of a reported rift between he and Tom Brady.

Arians denied all the details of the report, which claimed that he was not allowing Brady and offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich to put together a gameplan while he was rehabbing from an Achilles injury.

FOX Sports radio host Rich Ohrnberger delivered the report which lead some to believe Tom will want to play for another team if he does in fact come out retirement. This is also the same reporter who reported about Patrick Mahomes asking his brother and fiancee to not attend games next season.

So there’s that.

Arians called the report “far fetched”

Via Tampa Bay Times:

“It seems like there’s one (story) every day now,’’ Arians said. “Everybody is speculating he’s going somewhere else. That don’t bother me. This other bulls—, the relationship thing, that’s so far-fetched.’’

Arians continued on refuting the report:

“First of all, I don’t rehab my Achilles in the morning,’’ Arians said. “I will go over the game plans and add things, but I don’t delete anything. I don’t have to because they do such a good job.

“I’ll see some things. Add some things. It’s an awesome collaboration, one of the best I’ve ever been around.’’

Arians said he also has never used a red pen to alter a game plan:

“I never heard of that one,’’ he said laughing. “That was the best one ever. That’s pretty graphic to not know what the (expletive) you’re talking about.”

Arians is not a guy who beats around the bush, so you have to take him at his word.

Plus there’s the guy’s other report that turned out to be BS, so it’s hard to believe this story.

Bruce Arians is not about to sit idly by while someone tries to make crap up.
