Amazon’s Ridiculous Offer for Al Michaels to Call Thursday Night Football Revealed

Al Michael is about to get paid.

The legendary broadcaster has been with NBC’s Sunday Night Football since 2006 after leaving ABC’s Monday Night Football where he was employed from 1986 to 2005.

Now he’s headed to Thursday Night Football on Amazon and he’s rumored to be finalizing a contract to pay him more than most players. According to Andrew Marchand of the New York Post, the Al Michaels contract is at the ‘half yard line’

Michaels is about to make more than most NFL players. Michaels will call all 16 games for the streaming platform.

See the report below:

Michaels was making around $6 million per year at NBC according to reports, so the 77-year-old could see his annual salary double.

So it sounds like Al Michaels will make about 600 Grand per game, which is a nice reason to show up to work.

The Streaming Wars are making everyone rich.
