Alex Rodriguez Reportedly Doesn’t Plan on ‘Dating for a While’

Alex Rodriguez is doing what single men do, and focusing on himself and his kids. The former New York Yankees slugger was recently spotted with Ben Affleck’s ex Lindsay Shookus at a charity event. After news broke about their hang out, Alex‘s rep shut down speculation that Alex and Lindsay were dating, saying “they’ve been friends for 15 years.”

But apparently that was nothing more than a friendly encounter.

While the 45-year-old retired Yankees player has been spotted out a lot lately, a source close to him is now revealing his future relationship plans following his split from fiancee Jennifer Lopez.

Instead, the former New York Yankees star has been spending time with his two daughters, 16-year-old Natasha and 13-year-old Ella, and their mom, his ex-wife, Cynthia Scurtis. Earlier this week, he was spotted having lunch at NYC’s Bar Pitti with Natasha, Ella, Scurtis and her current husband, Angel Nicolas.”

A-Rod probably won’t rush into another relationship. It’s going to take some time to find a suitable Jennifer Lopez replacement.
