Adrian Peterson Arrested on Domestic Violence Charge After Argument with Wife Ashley

NFL running back Adrian Peterson has been arrested on Sunday and charged with felony domestic violence, according to TMZ Sports.

Peterson was apparently arrested after a domestic violence between him and his wife Ashley Brown which occurred on a planed travelling from LAX to Houston.

The plane was forced to turn around after the two apparently got in to a verbal and physical argument on the plan prior to take off.

A representative from Ashley’s camp told TMZ that “Earlier today Adrian and his wife Ashley had a verbal argument on a flight, and he was removed from the plane. This is a private misunderstanding between husband and wife and we anticipate it will all be resolved shortly.”

It looks like it will all be settled outside of court, but this clearly does not look good for the running back who has already had legal issues with abuse in his past.
