49ers Fan in Medically Induced Coma After Being Assaulted Outside SoFi Stadium

Fans have been fighting ever since they returned to sporting events.

Eventually something bad was going to happen.

A 49ers fan was found unconscious on the ground at a SoFi Stadium parking lot on Sunday while the NFC Championship game between the 49ers was taking place.

When firefighters arrived they found Oakland resident Daniel Luna on the ground and he was immediately taken to the hospital.

The man is now in a medically induced coma.

Via ABC7:

“According to Inglewood police, L.A. County Fire responded to a call around 4:05 p.m. for reports of a man down in a parking lot.

When firefighters arrived on scene they discovered Oakland resident Daniel Luna on the ground and he was immediately taken to the hospital.

Inglewood police say they weren’t alerted to the incident until hours later.

Authorities say Luna suffered numerous injuries to his upper body and was placed into a medically induced coma.

According to the LA Times, Luna is the owner of Mistura, a Peruvian restaurant in Oakland.”

Of course there’s not any mention of the man being beaten for being a 49ers fan, but you have to assume it was about the team he was rooting for.

But, we have seen plenty of occasions of fans of the same team beating each other too.

Praying this guy makes a full recovery. No one should have their life in jeopardy by going to a football game.
